Really great place to grab a slice of pizza. They have several different options for everyone. Lots of different flavors. They were fast. Parking is limited to meter parking on the street and parking lot.
I'm a pizza nerd. Best ever is Regina's in Boston's North End. Here in Phoenix, Grimaldi's, from Brooklyn, is the best. When cooked properly, it's an 8.5. The only other pizza in the valley that can score an 8 or more is Villa Della. I give it an 8. Classic what-I-call "Italian-American" pizza. Rich, aged mozzarella. Great dough cooked to a proper char. They add a little fresh basil and grated cheese on top, which is fine, but it would still be an 8 without. Nice job, folks! Please put one in Scottsdale!
Excellent pizza! Some of the best pizza in the Valley, without question. They have multiple types to try and you can get them by the slice. The slices are big! Definitely recommend the Vodka, DiParma, and Phoenix. All are delicious! The pizza is so well made, and the toppings put it over the top, with great crisp and flavor.
The inside has limited seating if you're trying to dine in. Overall, it's entirely worth a trip here!
Came here 2pm on a Friday and wow what a great pizza joint.
Primus was playing, the pizza was awesome, and I really liked the decor.
Their crust is just perfect, it’s almost thin with a slight crunch to it but still soft enough. Perfect for folding in half and eating.
I got a white pizza and my wife got a diparma. Both were excellent!
If I lived around here I could see coming to this pizza place a lot! Definitely worth a visir.
spicy sausage slice was good.. but the grandma slice was burnt to a crisp. I waited for this slice too. Heard a lot of good things about this place I don’t think I’ll be back my gums hurt from trying to bite this burnt ‘deep dish’ lol
update: I was very clear to your employees that I was short on time for lunch when they said there was a wait for the “grandma pizza” so after 10-15 min of waiting I had to get back to work. Sorry yall messed up and earned a bad review Quality Assurance should be major!!! I was not gonna be late to clock in since yall burnt my pizza.
For sure a great slice. But would I drove totally out of my way for it. No. The crust is amazing and their hot honey is great. I wish the pepperoni had more pepperoni on it, but all of the slices were really good, and probably one of the better pizzas in all of Phoenix.
I’m am so glad that I stopped by for lunch today! I got two slices. The Green with a pesto crema and jalapeño pineapple marmalade and the Spicy Sausage with calabrian chilis, ricotta, and a hot honey drizzle. Both were amazing! Loved the crust. Loved the freshness. Loved the ambiance, friendly service, and even the music in the restaurant. Topped it off with a cannoli that I forget the name of but it had fruity pebbles on it. Delicious! Definitely a place I will visit again whenever I can.
I was at a convention in Downtown Phoenix, and I wanted to check off one of the restaurants that I had saved on my list. This was only a couple of minutes from the convention center. It was everything that I was hoping for! The NY-style pizza had a crispy undercarriage. They only had a few options for slices because I was there after lunch crowd, and before dinner. I ordered their pepperoni with peppers and hot honey. OMG, my mouth is watering just writing this review. It truly is in my top 5 pizza places that I have had. I can't wait to go back and try some other toppings.
